How the Community Fund Works
Every monthly contribution is split into three parts:
75% goes directly into the Community Pool
15% supports Management & Operations
10% funds Technology & Outreach
Payment processing fees (e.g. Stripe) are added on top to keep the pool whole.
This is a voluntary, nonprofit mutual aid effort not insurance, and not a guarantee of assistance.

Supported by Track Day Leaders
Community Support
TRACKDAYPOOL is not insurance, does not guarantee any payment, and does not sell coverage. All contributions and support are voluntary and made at the discretion of the nonprofit and the community.
01
Track Damage Support
When a member experiences damage during an HPDE or track day, the TrackDayPool team may decide to offer support, depending on available funds and the details of the incident.
02
Safety and Responsibility First
Our mission is to promote safety and responsibility. Members who demonstrate careless behavior, repeated rule-breaking, or lack of basic preparation may not qualify for support.
03
Community Voting When Needed
While most support cases are reviewed by the nonprofit team, complex or borderline situations may be put to a vote among active members to ensure fairness.
04
Perks for the Community
TrackDayPool may secure group discounts with trusted vendors, organizers, and repair facilities. These benefits are shared with all current members.
05
Built by Drivers to Help Drivers
We are not a business. We are a nonprofit support network of responsible drivers who believe in helping each other when things go wrong and making safety the top priority.
ABOUT
TRACKDAYPOOL & Its Founder

My name is David Imedo, and I’m an HPDE and autocross enthusiast originally from Georgia, a small country in Eastern Europe. I came to the United States with my beautiful wife and sons to build a new life based on creativity, freedom, and opportunity.
My professional background is in film and television production I’ve spent years creating, directing, and producing films and entertainment formats. But away from the screen, my passion has always been motorsport — the smell of fuel, the friendships in the paddock, and the focus that comes from being behind the wheel.
In the U.S., HPDE and autocross events are organized in a highly professional and safe way, with instructors and event leaders working hard to minimize risks. But even in a controlled environment, mistakes and mechanical failures can happen, and when they do, many drivers face them completely on their own.
That’s what inspired me to create TrackDayPool a transparent, community driven system where track day and autocross drivers can voluntarily support each other when things go wrong on track.
TrackDayPool is built on three pillars:
-
Community: Members contribute voluntarily to a shared pool that can assist fellow drivers in need.
-
Transparency: Every collected and distributed dollar is reported openly through monthly updates.
-
Fairness: Assistance decisions are guided by clear rules and collective participation.
There are no contracts, no guarantees, and no obligations — just genuine community effort and shared passion.
When a member faces damage or failure and the community has funds, TrackDayPool steps in to help them return to what we all love — driving.
This project isn’t a business. It’s a family founded community built by drivers, for drivers by someone who believes that collaboration, creativity, and heart belong not only in filmmaking but also in motorsport.
APPROACH
Our Goal Is to Support What You Care About Most
TRACKDAYPOOL is a nonprofit mutual aid community created by and for HPDE and autocross drivers.
We’re not a business, and we’re not insurance. We don’t sell coverage. We’re simply a network of drivers who’ve come together to help each other when things go wrong at the track especially when official insurance won’t.
Every dollar collected is pooled transparently. If a member suffers damage during an event, and their driving behavior was responsible and within safety standards, our community may vote to help cover part of the cost.
We reward good behavior, promote safety upgrades, and aim to reduce fear around track days so more drivers can participate, learn, and grow. That’s the TRACKDAYPOOL mission.
